MBI Takes Part in Student Event in Stanley, ND

Stanley High students shine in mock interviews with MBI

Stanley High School Ag teacher, Bailey Hawbaker, recently invited MBI to take part in mock interviews designed to help prepare local students for the workforce. Students prepared resumes, cover letters, completed applications and were invited to interview with local companies based on their interests and materials. In mock interviews with our candidates, we challenged each student with real life scenarios and were impressed by their ability to think through appropriate actions and formulate solid responses. MBI, along with other local employers -- Gooseneck Implement, Border Plains, American Bank, Pinnacle, 4-H Extension, Mountrail County, ND Highway Patrol and Whiting -- provided individual recognition for each student and guidance in areas needing improvement.  We applaud SHS for their efforts to best prepare our young people for the workforce with creative solutions like this one.
