The board of directors of MBI Energy Services announced today that the company interests of Jim Arthaud, the company's CEO, and Jody Arthaud, Senior Vice President, Fluid Management Operations have been acquired by the company giving them the opportunity to pursue other paths and opportunities.
Jim and Jody founded MBI over thirty years ago and have been industry leaders since that time. Headquartered in Belfield, ND, MBI Energy Services has grown since its founding in 1979 to be the largest fluid logistics and rentals provider in the Williston Basin. Since 2010, MBI has made several significant and strategic acquisitions to position itself as a broad-based oilfield services company, augmenting its hauling business with Service Rigs, Wireline Units, a Fishing & Rentals business, Oil Tools, Well-site Supervisors, Hot Oil trucks, and a Crane business.
Jim Arthaud said, "MBI is a great company with a bright future. It has been a great privilege of ours to help build MBI into the company that it is today. We have a terrific management team that I know will continue to make MBI a success."
Jody Arthaud said, “I would like to thank my family for their support, each and every employee that made this company possible, our loyal and supportive customers as well as the local communities that have supported us throughout the years.
Newton W. “Trey” Wilson has been named Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of the company. Wilson previously served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Key Energy Services, Inc., leading operations and business development for all service lines including rig and coiled tubing services, fishing, rental services and fluid management across over 180 locations in the United States and globally.
"I'm excited to join the MBI Energy Services team," said Wilson "and look forward to continuing to build upon the company's already market-leading position across many of its various business lines. The company has a strong platform that is uniquely positioned to serve its customers, and I am proud to be affiliated with such an organization."
